I think the biggest and most important teacher in a child's life should be their parents first and foremost. The parents are their first teacher and should be the most important. A parent should never pass off their responsibility to their child's school teacher, which unfortunately some parents do. A school teacher is responsible for teaching a child the required curriculum and provide an encouraging learning environment for the student. I believe everyone is a teacher. We learn something from everyone we encounter in our lives.
