Get IP adress through shell

Hey I got a problem and i want to get the ip adress of someone. He is in my msn, how can i get him ip just opening a chat window? which program let you do this? i tried netstat but theres a lot of ips... suggestions?

I didn't think it was legal to get someone's IP address. I hope someone can help you if it is. Good luck.

is not legal bad these guy steal all passwords of my girlfriend...So i wanna take revenge :D. However thx
