After all the controversy, I really liked this show. It reminded me of when I was a kid and you could ride your bike without a helmet, and run over to a friend's house on another street without worrying about being snatched etc. Kids need risk to grow. They need to fail in order to learn and become stronger. I'll be watching this show again, definitely. How about you?

It was nice to remember times like that. I hate the fact that my kids miss out on so much stuff that I enjoyed so much. I remembered the other day that I used to walk about 1/2 mile to the store to get candy and yet I won't let my kids walk about 6 blocks to the gas station to get a soft drink as I worry that they might not come home.
I don't know where things went so terribly wrong with the way kids play but I would like to see more shows that allow kids to be kids and yet these kids are learning so much.

hello there scribbler..i did too..i wasnt sure i was goin to like it with everything i read.and i was sure i was goin to get mad atthe company or cry for those children..and here they arent really alone at all..and they did a fantastic job!!and your right..kids need to fall in order to get back up and do it again and learn from theer mistakes..and this show wil be great for that..and the fact they chose the out houses instead of the tv made me so proud!!! it had to be hard from a kids point of view tonot have tv..lol..i hope the other shows are just as great..and kudos to the little kids beating the older ones in teh game! lol
