Do You Know Of Anyone Personally Who Has Disappeared??????

Do you know any person maybe from your neighbourhood,
or your town,who has seemingly vanished off the face
of the Earth? This has happened quite a few times over
the years in my town.I wont relate the actual stories
which are very sad,but I will tell you that these people were never found,neither were any remains found
to at least indicate that they had died.The missing
people were searched for extensively without a trace
been found.Some have been gone for decades.

That is so sad, and makes you wonder what happened to the person. It's scary because there could be a murder involved, and the murderer could be on the loose or something. I have never personally known anyone who has disappeared, but I have heard stories that have happened around my area. It is so sad, because nobody knows where the person is or what happened to them. It makes your heart go out to them and their friends and family.

My Aunt Laurie Partridge has been a missing person since Dec. 4, 1974, from Spokane, WA. Since I was born 10 years later I never got to meet her. She is my mom's oldest sister. When she was abducted it tore my moms family apart! I have created a couple missing person sites for her one on yuwie and one on myspace. I have known a few people who have. One of them was a close friend of mine, and I was very sad over it. Others were just people that I knew vaguely or had heard about. The town I grew up in had a lot of "mysterious disappearances" but I think perhaps a lot of it had to do with a corrupt and/or incompetent police force that either didn't want to or couldn't find the bodies. Not that it isn't possible that some of these people are still alive today, but there were just too many, and certain things they seemed to have in common.
