People that older than you thinks they know everything, isn’t annoying?

Is funny and ya know the funny thing about this is when you get older you will be saying dang the younger group think they know everything. lol trust me. But yes it is annoying. Was when I was younger and still is today. There will always be someone younger or older that will act like they know everything so just smile and tune em out and go about your biz

I agree! I am a young business owner in the construction trade! So, i'll be on a job and especially older men are like can you measure that right? Are you sure? Do you need help? Are you sure you're doing that right? UGHHH it's so annoing!!!!! I'm like relax let me do my job. If I didn't know what I was doing I wouldn't have a susseful business :)

I think it depends on what their actual experiences are. I have that problem often in the case of religion, when people who are much older than me converted to my religion like two years ago and yet try to tell me what to do, even though I've been following it for 23 years or so now. *sighs* I also often tell older people to shut the heck up on topics involving abuse, unless they were a victim themselves. If they were, then they have the right to say something about it. If not, then they don't need to tell me that I'm not doing a good enough job of "getting over it" or any of that kind of crap.

Yes, I actually had aconfrontation with one yesterday and it annoyed me so much. I was trying to explain but she keeps on shouting and yelling non sense word and then I just kept quiet..Sadly there are old guys who don't want to admit that they do not know everything and that their opinion isn't always right.

Hi vash! I have those kind of people who think everything they say is right they don't care to know if you agree with them or not. They think they are older than me and think they know better than I do. Its not that annoying, but a kind of weird. Thanks

It is not annoying for me. In fact I always respect people who are older than me. I think at least they have much more life experience than me. If I don't agree with them, I can talk to them or just listen to them. I don't have to be angry to it.

So why do you care? that's just what they think they know. They may know or may not.

Yes, those kind of people can be really frustrating. I know somebody who keeps constantly telling me that I got married too young (I'm in my 20s and have a college degree, it's not like I'm just out of high school!!!,) and says that I shouldn't have gotten married last year. Just because he is a few years older than me, he thinks he is so much wiser when it comes to relationships and marriage, only he's never even been married! LOL What's even more ridiculous is that my husband and I are happier than ever, and this guy is always complaining about his relationship problems, but yet he thinks he can give me marriage advice just because he's a little bit older. :P Anyway, it is definitely really annoying. I know not everyone is like that, but it can be really frustrating when people are.

No, I don't think they do. Some are very overbearing. I just avoid them.

There are people like that. They do always have an opinion on every topic they hear. If you check what they say or their opinion, someone it does not make any sense at all. I notice with this kind of people, they do response or reply on everything they hear for the sake of saying something.

I seldom see such people.But I'll think it scorn to these people.They are so pride of themself just because they are older than you.In fact, I repect the person who're older than me.But if they are too self-righteous,I resent them.And don't care about such people,just take it easy!
