ur first job,ur first paycheck--how does it feel??

when i got my first paycheck, i felt so excited. it's a mixed emotions actually. that you have your own money now out from your own sweat. but i felt i was on my own at that time even if i still lived in my parents house. and now that it's your own money, it's like you have the feeling to spend it, do shopping and all. but when you're in the store already, and seeing all those shoes, bags, etc, I felt that it was so expensive. hehehe. i became so practical that time then. i can say that you will really know how to value money when you earned that one from your own sweat. :)

My first job was working for a lawyer. I loved that first paycheck. I did not like the taxes being taken. My first pay went to buying my grams dinner out. I made a copy of the check so that I could remember how much I made and what I did with it. The second and third check doesn't mean as much as that first one. I felt like I could buy everything I wanted now. Ok that was a little unrealistic but that is how an young person thinks. My daughter recieved her first pay check last week. She was so happy she was jumping up and down. She told me she is buying a lap top computer. I told her she has a long way to go yet. She is sixteen and this is her first part time job ever. She thinks how independent she is. She pays for her own phone now. I think everyone feels indipendent and all grown up when they get that first check.

Well when first time I work at age 18 and very first month of check I receive I am very happy! I treat all my friends.And give some to my family in province its really amazing and nice feelings if we have own check every now and then.
