It's not that rare!

Okay, I've been told my medical condition is not that uncommon, but just how many of you have even heard of neuro-cardiogenic syncope? Basically it's a condition where the heart and brain miscommunicate periodically. When your heart rate goes up, your blood pressure is supposed to also, however in people with this condition, like me, sometimes the blood pressure plummets causing an opposite effect and my heart rate plummets causing many symptoms. Among the symptoms are, nausea, lightheadedness, dizziness, fainting, weakness, blurred vision, slurred speach, headaches and angina. Those are just some of the symptoms I endure when dealing with a near syncope episode. Due to missing several days of work per month because of the episodes, I ended up having to resign. Now, almost 14 months later, I am still fighting for disability. Funny part is, by the SSA.GOV website, any condition with heart not allowing proper blood flow is supposed to be a guaranteed disability. Now that cracks me up since like most people, I was turned down the first time. Any comments? Questions? Concerns?

I have heard of the syncope because I had something with that name with my MS. But the other I had no clue. The government had got everyone by the *seat of the pants* because of money. Like it is *their* money. I know both of us worked for it. Worked darned hard for it. When you do get it, think of the back pay. Hmmm. What can ya buy. (Or what bills can you pay). Good luck on holding on until something is done. I know it is hard.

I've just been told that i have nero-cardiogenic syncope, i don't know much about it yet, but the cardiologist wants me to get a pacemaker. I'm 18. I don't want a pacemaker, i don't even want to have this dissorder. I really don't know what to do. Does anyone who knows more about this have any advice, i would really appreciate it.
