Courteousness in road

I was driving to work this morning when this thing happened to me. I was running in a highway when I have to turn my wheel a little bit to the left to avoid hitting a walking man on my side of the road. In doing this, my car have taken a little part of the opposite road and maybe distracted the coming car in the opposite lane. After we have passed each other, I received a bad sign language from the driver of that car. Though I know I have committed a mistake of eating a part of his lane but I know that there was still a big room for him to maneuver or make some adjustment (well he was probably still 10 meters away). Anyway I just want to share my sentiment and believe this is one of the many reason why there are so many disagreement and fighting happening on the road because drivers have become impatience.
