That's very awful, it's really hard to deal with it impromptu. But as a normal person, in which I would also put my self on his shoes, I guess it would be nice to say things in a situation where one needs it. Let's say after eating, I would usually tell the person that MY breathe doesn't smell good and excuse myself of going to the men's room and brush my teeth. So if that approach still doesn't work, I'd be suspecting that the person is naive or either he has clogged nose!LoL

WOW, this is tough. Well, I'll try to shift my body somewhat (possibly in a natural manner, not suspicious manner) so that the person's mouth isn't too near me. If that's not possible, I guess I'll just have to endure it and try to breathe through my mouth until I can find an excuse to get away from the person ASAP he he he...Unfortunately I don't bring gums anywhere, so I can't possibly offer a gum.

I would do the same as you!Trying to look like its a natural thing instead of them catching on and becoming embarassed.I dont like to hurt peoples feelings at all.:):)

Yeah, hurting people's feelings is definitely a no-no. Not if we can help it, eh? He he he he...This is actually a good topic for discussion. ;-D

Well I would turn away as discreetly as I could but I do not look everyone in the Face anyway when I talk to them and I always stay a distant away if I do not know the Person

Hi there. If someone with bad breath was talking to me, and I had some gum, I would simply say, here stick this in your mouth, your breath stinks and I cant handle it... If they get offended well tuff... I just think Im entitled to smell fresh air, and that its inconsiderate to let your breath go down hill anyway... Theres no reason for bad breath, just laziness, and if its a health problem, there is help out there for them as well... If your one of them, use the help provided, quit being lazy, and look after your mouths... Have a good one

If you can't run away. you can offer them a chewgum on the sametime you get also one, else they mayby think that you think they are smell bad, what is true, but not nice to know.

I would casually take out a mint, and pop one in my mouth. Then I'd offer them one and if they said no, I'd comment on how good the mints/gum taste. Often if we ask a second time, they will concede and take the mint. Otherwise, I'd just try to increase the space between me and them. But I'd never do anything to hurt their feelings of course.

Thats exactly what i would do!Its the politest way i think to do something in a siyuation like this.Like you said,if it did not work,i would draw my self back some,so the impact would be less smelly.:)
