I don't agree. They aren't hurting anything and some people have issues that take them away from the net for a while. I would hate to get sick or something and come back to find I was deleted. Maybe after a year of inactivity but I don't really see why inactive accounts matter at all to anyone.

I have seen a few people that were inactive for a long time and suddenly popped up. I think that MyLot should send them an email and request that they respond within a certain number of days or be deleted.

What I know about this is, these inactive members don't get payed anymore. Their inactivity must have something to do with them being banned or that they don't want to participate anymore in here, but they aren't deleted because of the posts they made. If they get deleted, all of their posts, including those of which we responded at will be deleted too. And with that, all of us will also get affected by it.
I believe they don't allow this, to avoid a major "chain reaction" for all of us active members.

Hi there buddy, what's been up to lately?
Well, uhhhmmm yeah i think that's a good idea.
But i think, mylot would not do that kind of deleting thing like they do in some of discussions.
Mylot will not do that even a person who joined here is not active for 6months or more.
Why? Because those people who's inactive here for a long time now is still a part and counted in the huge numbers of members of myLOt.
Have a nice day ahead and happy posting and earning here in myLot.
Ciao,
Kiko

I know other sites do it, but I think it is especially because they have size constraints. If the system(s) running myLot have no such limitations, it does not matter to me one way or the other.
Though it would be interesting to know what percentage of the total are active, contributing members.
