i just had my medicine today and as always it feels like it's stuck in my throat again. i had to drink a lot of water just to wash it down but sometimes it doesn't work and i just leave it there until it dissolves. this usually happens when my medicine tablet is big for me and it doesn't have a smooth coating. do you often experience this too?

hello josan181237,
this is one of my biggest problem and i face it most often especially when the tablet is a big one.i hate swallowing those nonsense pills.and therefore i always avoid taking medicines ans stick to natural remedies.but my mom forces me to when its really needed and can't be avoided.
you must be knowing how it feels when the tablet gets stuck up at the middle of the throat.i just get mad at times and don't understand what to do.and also it gives a pungent smell at that time so that the taste of your mouth is destroyed.so i eat lots of chocolates and fruits.that helps me get out of this horrible situation.i always take a chocolate or some fruit in one hand and the tablet in another.i will swallow it and immediately take the chocolate.that makes me feel better.you can try it too.

My solution to swallowing pills and capsules is to relax
my throat, take a big gulp of water, toss my head slightly
to get everything moving in the right direction, and
swallow. Usually everything just goes down and I don't
taste a thing. I like taking water with pills b/c it
helps your body digest and absorb the medicine.
