I left corporate America in 2002, after being on short-term disability. I could have gone back to work, but I couldn't convince myself.
I started looking for ways to make an income from out of my home. Mystery shopping was my first venture. It took me a while to find the best companies to work for and which jobs are worth the time and gas. That led me into merchandising and product promotions. After, six months I was making $500.00 a month part-time.
I join MPSA (mystery shopping organization), that certifies you on two levels. That open up more doors for me and found out about companies that pay your to stay in hotels, cruise on ships and stay in resorts to evaluate their employees.
I found another company that pays you to drive a route and collect gas stations prices. They pay form $20-40 per day to collect and send these prices via email on an excel spread sheet. HARD TO BELIEVE....
Three years ago I moved to Nashville, TN from Chicago, and was able to continue Mystery Shopping and Merchandising. I was looking thru the local want ads and came upon an ad for Inbound Customer Service Reps; who wanted to work from home. I answered the ad with ShopAtHomeTV. They hired me and trained me at their corporate office and after training and 3 weeks working at corporate I started working from home. I was able to pick the hours I wanted to work from suggested schedules and pick up overtime hrs. This opportunity set me on the path to working at home. At the present I work for 4 at home companies. I'm so happy!!!
