Hi friends
While changing clothes in Hotels ......
Hey .... It is Imp ....very impp. Please share this information with your friends, family and all.
Not to scare you ,but to make sure that you aware.
Many of the hotels and textile showrooms cheat the customers this way & watch privately.
HOW TO DETECT A 2-WAY MIRROR
When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms ,changing rooms ,etc , how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, are actually a 2-way mirror i.e., they can see you, but you can't see them). There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms or bathroom or bedrooms. It is very difficult to positively indentify the surface by just looking at it.So, how do we determine with any amount of certainly what type of mirror we are looking at?
CONDUCT THIS SIMPLE TEST:
Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENIUNE mirror. However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR!( there is someone seeing you from the otherside). So remember, everytime you see a mirror , do the "fingernail test."It doesn't cost you anything. It is simple to do.This is a really good thing to do.The reason there is a gap on a real mirror, is because the silver is on the back of the mirror UNDER the glass.Whereas with a 2-way mirror, the silver is on the surface.Keep it in mind! Make sure and check every time tou enter in hotel rooms.May be someone is making a film on you
Ladies:Share this with you friends
Men: Share this with your sisters, wife, daughters , girl friends ,........

This urban legend just keeps going and going. There is such a thing as a two way mirror, but it has to be set into a wall between two rooms, and the observers have to be in the other room. If a mirror is on a closet door or on the wall of a changing room, it's a mirror, plain and simple. There is no way to see someone unless you are in a room where you can look directly through the mirror.

Hi juniorance! Thanks so much for sharing this information. I always wondered how private public restrooms and hotel rooms are. It is crazy people cannot have privacy anywhere. I believe alot of dressing rooms have 2 way mirrors because. I have seen signs that read room under survaliance by a female worker but when I look up I don't see any camera's so I can only assume mirrors are 2 way mirrors.

This is FALSE! It's just another urband legend chain mail that's been circulating the internet for quite some time now. You can read about for yourself at: http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/mirror.asp Most "warnings" that come in the form of a chain mail are false, so you should always check it out before spreading it around yourself.

Hey thanks for the link. Now i know how to detect 2 way mirrors better than the fingernail test. Although i think the fingernail test is just something that's fun to do, in a way. heehee.

The minute I finished reading your discussion, I hurriedly ran to our bathroom and check if the "fingernail test" works using the mirror. There is really a gap between my fingernails.. obviously because its my bathroom.. and there's no 2 sided mirrors in our house. Thanks for sharing this with us. It really gave me a hint that it is really possible for bathrooms or changing rooms to have 2 sided mirrors but because of your tip, I can definitely watch out for those people who are watching us at the other side of the mirror. It is definitely illegal to have 2 sided mirrors in comfort rooms or changing rooms. But even though its illegal, some people still use it for their own sleazy or whatever purposes.

If the mirror is really stuck to a wall, and I hear voices behind it, I would be concerned, because that means that it really could actually be a two-way mirror.

hey juniorance, thank you for telling us this. this is really a very very important news especially to us girls. The next time I would be going to a bathroom, hotels or any fitting room Ill first make sure that the mirror there is not a 2-way. Its better to be safe than sorry. :D

That's interesting to know. I have wondered about the mirrors in hotels, but usually assume changing room mirrors were two way mirrors due to so much shoplifting. I just did the fingernail test on my bathroom mirror to see what it looks like and look forward to testing any other mirrors I might encounter. Thanks for the heads up. :)
