Who is the best Lex Luthor?

Who among these actors who portrayed the various faces of lex luthor you like? gene hackman's comedic intrepretation? the suave and impeccable veneer of michael rosenbaum or kevin spacey's mad and genius lex? For me, i pick mike rosenbaum, hands down:-D

I think michael rosenbaum is the best lex luthor.I like him a little,though he is a bad man in the movie.I like his bald,he is very cool man in my opinion,so I think he is the best lex luthor.

his name is john shea. he's a very talented actor that he can make us hate "lex luthor". yup, he can portray his lex that is interesting, dangerous yet sophisticated portrayal... just simply from his voice, there was ominous evil yet suave and impeccable veneer. happy new year!

well,I don't know the name of lex luthor of Lois and Clark,I don't very like he,I just don't like his voice and smile,and he looks like very dangous.What do you think of him?

oh oh oh! that would be michael rosenbaum for me!!!! i love his bald look, it looks absolutely sexy on him!!! sometimes, i think i am rooting for lex luthor more than clark just because michael rosenbaum is playing him. hahahaha but i saw michael in another movie where he has hair, and he doesn't appeal that much to me...

i definitely agree. mike is the epitome of lex luthor. even my dad commented on his ability to carry the character very well. he's a gifted actor. normally he is so whacky in person (watch the gag reels of Smallville and different interviews) but he's able to carry the dark yet mysterious with a mix of vulnerability and ruthlessness (w/c he uses for his own evil schemes)lex to the hilt. hehehe... well, he looks sexy being bad..wehehehe

To me the best lex luthor is michael rosenbaum. He is by far the best lex luthor out of any of them even though kevin spacey as lex luthor is a second choice. But what makes michael rosenbaum so damn good as lex is because of the writers and the fact he looks more like an evil villian unlike the comics that make him look to strong. Hes also darker which I like more.

Gene Hackman was the best and Kevin Spacy ran a close second. They gave the character class and wit.
