Is there a divorce in your family?

My grandparents on my dad's side got divorced when I was a teenager, my parents divorced when I was in grad school, and I myself am also divorced. My fiance's parents are also divorced, so we are extra devoted to making our eventual marriage successful.

fortunately, i have a happy family. although my mom and my dad has quarrel with each other, but i dont' think it is bad for them. but my aunt have a bad marriage. she wants to divorce with her husband, but her son refuses, then she lives with her husband now. i dont' know why they can't bear with each other. when they are poor, then they live happily together, but now they are rich, they find many faults from each other. it is very surprised.

Hello! I'm proud and happy to say that my parents are happily married for 26yrs now. Although arguments are there still their relationship is very strong. In the country where I came from divorce is not allowed or legal. Separation yes, but you're not allowed to remarry again unless you file for annulment which is expensive. So many couples can't file for it since they can't afford to. My aunt, my mother's sister has been separated from her husband for almost 15 yrs now. She's in a relationship for many yrs with her bf but still can't get married. It's hard as we see they're a happy couple. Take care. *smile* ciao! c",)

Yes I do my parents have been seperated then divorced since I was 17 years old I don't even remember what it's like to have them still married and in the same house around each other so when my mom comes to visit me with my sister it's really weird having all the family together.

ya i have a divorce in my family and many of my firends have parents who are seperated. It's quite uncommon for me aswell. i haven't got many couples who are divorced in my family i mean my parents are happily married but u hear about divorces and it gets you going doesn't it? anywayz yea i've got only 1 or 2 divorces in my family. it's quite rare for me

No. We can't even think of divorce. For us marriage is a life long relationship. I am married for 36 years and we are happily married parents.

My parents are still happily married after 30 something years of marriage. I hope my hubby and I follow in their footsteps and stay married forever! The only divorce in my family is my moms brother. A lot of my friends have divorced parents and/or they are divorced themselves!

My mom and dad are divorced. It was the hardest thing I've ever been through. My dad became really childish and made it hell for my mom, sister, and I. He's still giving my sister and mom a hard time. There is actually a lot of divorce in my family. It's scary. It almost makes you feel like it's a gene or something! I told myself when I got married that I would do everything in my power to make it work if we ever had problems. My husband is nothing like my dad though. I feel confident in our relationship. I still have a fear in the back of my mind though, and I blame that on my dad for everything he put my family through.

My parents divorced after 28 years when I was 16. Hun's parents divorced after 25 years, he was 17. We have been married for 43 years... we learned a lot about what NOT to do in a marriage, and we'll always be together.

yes ,there is a flaw in my family,one of my elder brothers seperated with his exwife,it is really an unhappy thing for us,though i like them both,i could not do anything,hope both of them have a happy ending.
