The only "famous" person I've ever met is Tim Armstrong from Rancid. I met him last year at a Rancid show in Houston. I was VERY excited, I got a picture with him. He was a really nice guy. I haven't met anyone else famous though!

Well, I'm a little bit jealous that you've met Thrice, because I do like their music! :) I've met a few people from bands mostly: the lead singer from Catherine Wheel, all of Midnight Oil, Voltaire, The Cruxshadows, The Last Dance, Ego Likeness, and some even lesser known bands than that. Aside from them, I think the only famous person I've met is Ozzie Smith, who used to play baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Depends on what you mean by famous. I've meet some Science Fiction writers that are Big Names in the SF field. I've meet several of the actors who played Doctor Who on the TV show. I met the actor who played Scotty on Star Trek. Do you sense a science fiction theme here?

I've met Ricky Hatton, the boxer from Manchester who's fighting Floyd Mayweather in December. I used to serve him a lot in the bar where i worked. Really nice, down to earth guy. Apart from him, i don't think i've met anyone else famous.

I've met some athletes from the local sports teams here, The Cavaliers, The Browns, The Indians, and then I've met the guys of Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Mest, Relient K, and Something Corporate. Oh and I met Avril Lavigne, Butch Walker, and American Hi-Fi.
