Have you ever left something in the freezer too long?

I'm not talking about something that's meant to go in the freezer, but something that you put in there to make it colder, faster. I've had a few burst sodas, thankfully not many, though. Today, however, I woke up to find frozen pudding in the freezer. My husband likes it extra cold (not frozen, though!) and put two individual packs in for us last night. Well, I fell asleep before we had them and I guess he forgot, so now I'm thawing it out. Lol!

Yes I have!! Pop usually. I put it in and get busy with kids and forget. I havent had one expload yet. I also forget my water in there to. I put a water bottle in there to get nice and cold and by the time I remember its frozen!! LOL

Yes I have left some tings in the frezzer to long, that is how food get frezzer burnt. and looks all brown. I never keep food in frezzer longer thsn 6 months.

I have exploded a few pop cans in my days. The worst time was when we put a few in our camper freezer,forgot about them and went home. When we went went back to camp two weeks later we had a huge mess. Red pop had seeped from in the freezer down the door into the fridge and all over the floor. I was cleaning it up for hours and then had to get rid of the ants it had attracted.

I've definitely done that. Fortunately nothing that would explode and also nothing that would be ruined by freezing too long. I've also put stuff in the fridge that was supposed to go in the freezer and that was no good. It's funny sometimes how much of a short term memory we can have!
