What happened to bicycles?

Every time I look outside I don't see kids on bicycles any more. All I see them riding now are the gas powered scooters that are really loud. I was just wondering are bicycles out of style and are those little scooters the new thing?

Yes i do believe that bicycls have gone out of style. We aslo have kids on motor scooters and once in a while they will be running around in golf carts. bicycles are work to ride around on. We also have quite a few skateboaders around here. There are a few kids that do ride their bicycles. When I took my walk too night I saw 2 of them. It's just as safe as it used to be to ride bicycles as it used to be.
