Have you ever heard of Darfur? Well I hadn't until Tuesday night when I saw Nick Clooney speak at Wilmington College. Darfur is a country in Sudan. In this country their people are being slaughtered. Women are raped by the militia and their husbands and sons are brutally killed each and every day. One woman watched in horror as these men threw her son into a fire to kill him and then watched as they mistook her daughter for being a male and they snapped her neck like a chicken and threw her down a well. What can we do? Visit this website and see. It's easy.... contact you senators, congressmen and women, anyone in the government, news media, get the word out there. We can stop it. Check this website and make a difference...

Who hasent heard about darfur? we can stop it? the grim reality is we cannot, there is only one solution for this crisis, war, only war against the Arab-africans can possibly change this, the Aricans need someone like Massoud of Afghanistan who is of their own kin to go in the right direction, going around in streets waving banners is only a mockery of the seriousness of the situation.

Believing that we cannot stop it is a negative attitude. If your country was in crisis you wouldn't want people to think the same, that they couldn't help stop your crisis. It takes more that one country to stop things like this. Darfur does not have the resources or are afraid to stand up for themselves. We CAN help, we need our countries to step in and help. Don't worry, I understand that this is you position on the subject.

I not saying we cant stop it, im just saying that our current way is not even close to be enough.
Its always good to help, but donations and simply talking about it seem to put the whole situation into a "acceptable state" and you get corny people like Bono and celebs "trying to make a difference". Im not saying i dont donate, i do, but the way to change this, is either to give the Islam-Africans the total rule, or the Africans, and i belive the Africans should be backed up by a international force.

Thanks for bringing it up...It is too disturbing to be believed..I think each one of us in our countries need to talk about it more actively..Its been in the news for a long time now..but still the indifference.
