My "New" Dog

Last week someone dropped off a dog in front of my house, and she looked starved so we fed her and she is such a sweet and friendly little thing we decided to adopt her. She is a small mix breed dog, and she looks old. I can't imagine why someone would drop off such a sweet and friendly dog, and just leave it. It's so pitiful to see dogs that have been dropped off somewhere by people. What really makes me sad is that most of them will sit there for a long time waiting for their former owners to come back.
