Elderly Woman Charged in Stabbing of Child!

So sad, I hate seeing these things and will keep this poor child in my prayers tonight. Sometimes this world scares me.

WHAT??!! Thats crazy!! Man what a world we live in where grandparents are stabbing there grand babies!! I hope the girl will be ok and tell the poliece what happened. I wonder what took place to set the grandma off like that? Had to be pretty bad..or she fliped out! If she did it then she sould serve some time for it or be on house arrest.

I had not heard anything of this in the news. But I find the news appalling. I cannot imagine anything that would provoke a grandmother into doing such a terrible thing to a child. That poor child, I hope he/she recovers quickly and has no trauma from this.

OMG now I see where you got the other post from! If it turns out that this grandmother was suffering from some form of dementia then surely it would have been obvious before this and she should never have been left to care for these children! What a horrible thing to happen - I pray that this poor girl recovers and is not too scarred mentally from what has happened to her! xxx

I wonder if she realy did this. If she didnt and she was babysitting dont you think she would of seen who did it. This is very sad and i hop that the child lives. I'm about to cry thinking about it.

How could a grandma stab her own grand daughter.. "The child, was said to have been studying with a sister when the act occurred" hmmm they can try questioning her sister? Hope she recovers..

It sounds as if the grandmother may be suffering from dementia. What a horrible thing to have to go through knowing that a family member is responsible for harming one of your children.

That is terrible I can not believe it how can someone do that to their own Grandchild I am really shocked at this I hope the girl made it through

I have to wonder if the great grandma suffers from some sort of dementia. It's not uncommon for our elderly to seem okay and then just break one day out of no where. My grandma is 78 and very active but it is becoming clear lately that she is starting to "lose it". As much as I love her I wouldn't leave my kids with her. Regardless I could imagine that this has torn the family apart. Nobody wants to believe that grandma could be capable of such an act.

What a sad story and my prayers are certainly with this family. It is horrible to read the things that people do these days and it is always the ones that always seem the nicest that turns out to be the worst. How could a grandmother do such a thing and why only one granddaughter. I hope that the girl survives and can tell us what happened. Please keep us informed on what happens to her.

i didnt hear this story but wow so sad,how could anyone do something like that.i pray for that poor child and i hope she pulls thrugh.she must of had a mental problem or something.prayers with that child,my heart goes out.pattie
