So I am in the beginning of my junior year and have come to the realization that I am miserale in my major. I realized today that it has been because during my first year of college I struggled with family things and conflicts going on there, got through that. Then the next year I had so many issues with friends not to mention my boyfrend was in Korea for 10 months in the army and came back around the beginning of 2nd semester. So now that everything has settled down I have realized that I want nothing to do with Information Systems. I hear others in my major talking about what they want to do and all I can think is... eew. I don't want to sit at a desk or program or network... I want to deal with people and business relations. I want to change to Business Administration or something along those lines and switch my major to a minor so I don't waste all my efforts thus far. It may put me in school an extra semester but I think if I don't I will feel in the end that I wasted my time in college learning something I am no longer interested in. Any advice from anyone who has done or thought about this to help me make my final decision??

You know, I kind of like the simplicity of that one. Now it's really just a matter of getting my dad, who isn't currently talking to me for another reason, to see it the same way... There's the real challenge and fear.

Set your priorities in life.
Being so young, try to reflect and see where you are good at, what are your talents, what interests you, where do you see yourself a decade from now.
Dream and set your goal. Achieve those by choosing what you really know would fit you.
Ask elderly advice from relatives and friends who really know you.
It is difficult to change major because time is running out and soon you will see yourself wasting time and money.
You may want to pursue what you have started (finish it for 4years) and maybe after that, you can try to pursue on your Masters degree.
Good luck to you!

I have tried to kind of look at where I see my self in 5 and then 10 years and after hearing what others in my major say they want, its definitely not that. I don't think I'd be wasting time and money just spending a little more of each in college. I don't know, it's still kind of up in the air but I'm definitely leaning towards one side. THanks for the great advice!
