Are you ever Really Ready??

u have a point there about being completely prepared, but if u think about it, when u say completely prepared its kind of like ur saying that ur "perfectly" ready, and we all kno nothing is perfect.

yes,we never know what will happened tomorrow,when we make a plane,we think it's perfect plane,but we are wrong,there is somenthing happend that we can't expect.maybe we want to change our decision.maybe we can't accept what's happening, but what can we do,we must face the truth and accept it,the make a good decision.and what we want to believe is that we will have a bright furture. do what we can do.

I believe that this is why it is so important to trust God. We never know how we will react to different things that happen in our lives. I do not care how much you rehearse or prepare for it, until that thing actually happens, you are in the dark about it. You can try to talk to others and get a feel for it, but every one is different. There are universial reactions, but for the most part, your experiences are very unique to you.

No I don't believe you are ever ready. If you are putting something off because you are waiting until your ready you are just giving yourself an excuse. Every situation is unique and you can try be as prepared as you are capable of but when the situation comes you'll realize you can never be completely prepared - you have to handle it as you experience it.

I totally agree. I think that you always know the things you want in life, but are never really ready for them until they happen....sometimes not even then.

i believe none of us in here getting ready about everything which suddenly happened/arised in their life. its just nonsense, if someone talked that he already prepared everything well. less or much, he will get surprised feeling about whats goin on in his life coz he is only human being :)

I had planned on my son going to college, I was ready for that, instead he enlisted in the military - I was not ready for that. You can only get ready for the next day, or the next week, we just have an illusion of control.

Sometimes I think I am ready and then something comes up and I end up going in another direction..I guess whatever I wanted to do wasn't meant to be at that time or maybe never.. I think if we were ready for it then there wouldn't be any challenge to life..We all have to grow up and we all we eventually die...Those are facts in life...All the rest of it is a roller coaster ride we all take..Some take a harder road and some take the easy road...What we do prepares us but I don't know that we are ever really fully prepared...

Hi, Copperkitten I agree on this comment. How can we prepare for anything in our life as we will face a new things in everyday without our notice. We are human only, how can we forecast for the future?? Maybe we just can prepare when we want to marriage with our lover!!For Others, i think it is diffcult to prepare on it.

I totally agree with you. You can't get ready for anything. Life is full of surprises. You can prepare yourself by reading lots of books or by gathering information from other people, but your life and path are unique. For example: you think you've got your entire life figured out but then tsunami hits and you lose everything you own and everyone you love. Another example: from what I read in other people's parenting blogs, there's really no one book or one set of rules that is valid for every family. One set of rules adopted by a family may not work out so well if it's carried out by a different one. So you just have to be creative. ;-D

I don't think we will ever be ready unless we do something today. I do have preparatins for the future. I planned. But being ready in all aspect is something we all have to work on. I can say there some events in life that I am emotionally ready to accept. But there are still a lot that I need to work on.

100% agree. People can never get ready for what will happen in life. That is probably people usually say "oh, if I were ..., I would have different life now". According to my understanding, what I can do is to face the reality no wonder what the circumstance is, optimistically.
