i like myspace and use it everyday but it is against myspace rules to post and links to websites that are referals or money making websites because myspace thinks its spaming i think it is bull because what if i want all my friends to know about this great site i am making money at and i want to refer them.. isn't that my decission and my friends don't have to go to it.. i am just letting them know its there so if they want they can go... anyone have any thoughts on this issue.?

I believe MySpace has the right to tell you that you can't post links like that. After all, it is spamming links to other sites. Whether you want to promote it or not, it's still another site that offers payment for doing the basic gist of nothing. In most people's minds, that's a spam site.
However, I don't agree with all of MySpace's rules, either. Mostly the ones that don't make much sense. But the rules are there to keep the idiots of the planet in line, so I guess I can't complain too much.

Very well said. I agree there are some guidelines that don't feel exactly righ to me either but they are there for a reason.

Personally I don't feel that they are wrong. We can put our links on our profiles if we want to which I think is enough. If they allowed that there would be more links than discussions and nobody would be responding. The whole idea of mylot is for discussions and making friends.
