Great that you play guitar, But silence also is a great pllace to be. You may even compose your own music while at it. Happy posting

Great, music seems to be a part of life that even if I do not own an ipod, there seems to be music everywhere I go, like in the office, at home from my neighbors tuner or radio, at the buz, and whn I'm in the net I put on my radio. good for you, You can do without music for so many days. Happy posting and have a great day. thanks for sharing

I hate to echo other responders, but...
If I'm not listening to music, it's usually because I'm busy enjoying the sounds of nature. I really enjoy getting outside. For me, it's especially night sounds that I enjoy. Perhaps because I can see less, and therefore my focus goes to my ears more. =)
Right now there is music playing in my home because I am trying to get my son to sleep, but I'm looking out my window watching the wind blow through the trees, with their orange and red leaves, and thinking I'd much rather be out there than in here, given the option.

Night sounds are very nice! It's neat too because in different places you will get very different sounds. Where I used to live, there were soooo many crickets, but where I live now there aren't as many. So it's very different.
The sound of the water is very nice as night though. You can hear it all the way to my yard, even though the canal is a short walk from here. In the daytime, there are too many cars to hear the water from that distance, but at night you can hear it, along with leaves moving, and the rustling of various animals. Just yesterday I saw a bunny peeking out from our bushes, which explains some of the rustles I've heard from the bushes.
We also have the "tweety bird mafia" as my husband calls them. We have yet to see any of them, but they will sing at very strange hours, anywhere from the middle of the day to late at night.

Yes. Every year on Yom Kippur. I don't listen to music.

I listen to music everyday. In my car at home and at work. I really like to have the music on when I'm cleaning house. It makes the time go by faster.
