For me, i can still remember her because she was like a mother to all of us. she's also very strict but a very good teacher.

Yes, I still remember my first grade teacher. Her full name I can still recall. She was a gentle but firm in her disciplining the pupils. I like her because through her my talents and potentials were cultivated and later on brought good results academically and socially.

I agree with you. But for me, a teacher is best remembered for her ways and especially for the things he/she has embedded on the students lives--the kind of impact that was left to the pupils' heart, either at traumatic experience or a very pleasant one.

Yes I do remember my 1st grade teacher. She told me that during that time, she liked me because I dress neatly, attended the flag ceremony promptly, etc. One morning, I came late among others during the flag ceremony and I was scolded by our Principal. I cried because I was afraid with our Principal. In defends of me, my teacher argued with the Principal which made her decide to transfer to other school. Today, she is a businesswoman and I am her customer. Everytime we meet, she repeatedly narrate our experience, lol.

You're so lucky to have a teacher like your 1st grade teacher. And such a beautiful relationship that it didn't end in the classrooms. I guess you're really good friends now, too. I also met my 4th grade 3 years ago. I didn't recognize her but she was the same "motherly" teacher I met way way then.
