This season they are adding one of the characters that people have been waiting for for a while....Supergirl. The series should be nearing the end since its almost time for Clark to move to and become the reporter for the daily planet. Things are starting to form into place where the first superman started off as of Lois becoming a true reporter for the planet as well. This seems like a really good season. and as long as they end it well, i don't mind it ending.

I have heard that there will be an 8th season, although Micheal Rosenbaum(Lex) is leaving the show after this year. Not a sad thing for me. I detest that guy, although he does make it interesting. There are plenty of things they could do with the show even without him. With Kara here now, anything is possible. Plus there is the whole "Justice League" angle. We'll just have to keep watching I guess!

I really like Smallville and would like to see it continue. But if the too many of the main characters leave, then it wouldn't be the same and not as good. For instance without Kristin Kreuk I would probably stop watching or at least it would not be as nearly a high priority show for me as it is now.

I don't think it will because Clark has pretty much grown up. It's supposed to be about his young years. He is pretty mature.

I think there will be at least one more season of smallville. The producers of this seem to be dragging this out a little more than it should have been. Dont get me wrong I am glad they did. For me this is what makes my Thursday Nights. I am starting to get a little tired of the whole LanaClark thing. The man needs to wake up and see the fact that Lana seems to be a little conservative about herself and Louis is a wildcat in the making. But I am gald Lana left Lex. I am still waiting to see how the rest of the SMallville series plays out. Because in the Superman movies you dont here about Chloe but yet she is still around, jsut like Pete, we didnt hear about him and they booted him off the show. But hopefully now that Johnathan Kent is gone and Martha has left for Washington and the emrgence of SuperGirl (SuperHOTTIE) maybe things will ppick up some and we will see hte true Superman in the making.

i had read that the big stars of smallville has a contract until the 8th season and lately i heard a podcast interview of Al Gough that the 8th season will be the final one... for me, that's pretty sad... i dunno about more actors going out of the series. i heard justin hartley will be back... i love this show!
