Did any one else have one of these as a child?

I had a toy that I just loved when I was a child, it was called a lemon twist....it had a black plastic piece at one end was a loop to put your foot through and the other had a lemon shape. You start spinning it around and jump it with your other foot. It was fun, except when you missed and it hit your ankle...ouch! We would spend hours with this toy, I guess that's one of the ways we stayed slim and trim as kids. It's probably a good thing we don't use them now, as we get older we're more likely to dislocate our hips doing that....lol! Does anyone out there remember having one of these as a child?

That toy has been around a long time. My daughter had a
similar toy when she was little. It was the same only had
a ball at the other end instead of a lemon. It also had
a counter on it so she would know how many jumps she had
made.

Oh yes I sure had one but it wasn't a lemon. I think it was a ball instead. My daughter also had one that was like a pear shaped disc.
I'd love to have one again but probably wouldn't be able to get my foot through the ring LOL

I remember those, however I don't think we called them a lemon twist. Mine had a ball at the end. They still make them, a couple of Easter ago I bought one for my Grand Daughter.
Oh yeah GF I did not even try and use the thing it looks dangerous to me Now:))

I remember having something similar when I was little and now my daughter has one, they are salled Skip-Its now. They are super cute and come with little beads to decorate the rope. The end is a ball and has a counter on the end so you know how many times you skipped it=)
