I admit, I am not one of those who often attend conferences. Some attend conferences for businesses, or business related activities. Some are for the corporate related conferences. I am actually planning to attend a conference this year. I think my earnings in mylot can serve for the finances of this conference. Please share what conference are you attending or you have attended lately. Please read and view my personal invitation from Bo Sanchez: http://www.kerygmaconference.com/ This year’s biggest Catholic Learning Event is coming your way! The last conference I attended was on July, in Scottsdale Arizona. It was the annual conference of ASHS (American Society for Horticultural Science)

I am a system adviser on management systems. Attending conferences on various aspects of management systems is a part of my job. The last conference I attended was on Food Safety Management Systems as per International Standard, ISO 22000.

This person also travels to US every now and then and other parts of the world. He is actually a preacher not just in the Philippines but also in US, Singapore, Dubai, Malaysia, and Indonesia as I have seen his trips on the internet. I also do not join conferences unless its for free or inspiring. God bless!

The last conference I attended was two years ago in a neighboring city. It was called Women of Faith. Several female Christian authors and singers would come and give testimonies. The singers were famous Christian singers and they would sing some of their more popular songs. There would also be some worship music where everyone would sing. Thousands and thousands of women came, and it was a two day thing. It brought Catholic, Baptists, Methodists, and other different denominations for a common goal, to worship together as women for the glory of Christ. They have had that conference again, but I wasn't able to attend. But I did enjoy it.

Hi beauty_ph! I like attending conference, but its just the problem of financing ones trip (I mean the transportating money). I like attending conference cos there you will get to learn a lot of things, meet different people, and even pick challenge. That is to say, one who attend conference doesn't remain the same. Thanks and have a nice day.

The problem I am facing with the current conference I wanted to attend is finances. It is true, it is hard to look for finances to pay for the transportation. But knowing that after the conference I will gain a lot of knowledge and inspiration, I am willing to risk. Hehehe. I know that God will provide. And I pray for sponsors and donations. LOL. God bless!

Definitely if you pay for my trip to the conference I'll go to any place it is. Hehehe. It is very expensive to attend conferences specially when it is abroad or even out of town. Even if its an all expense paid, I know why your mom still have to worry about the extras. Vegas is one of the expensive cities in the world, and I just can't imagine what I will crave for when I get there. LOL. God bless!

Well, I go to science fiction conventions sometimes, not quite a conference, but a lot more fun. I did work at a conference that was related to my old job back in 2005, but that was more because I liked someone there rather than because I liked the job. I did tell her that I probably couldn't do it again tho. And last year I was helping my mom & looking for a little job at that point.

The most recent conference I have attended was last March in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. NCECA - The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts is a professional association of individuals and organizations whose interests, talents and careers are focused on the ceramic arts. United by a fascination with the responsive, captivating medium of clay and its potential for creative expression, NCECA members share a conviction that the work of the hand has the power to shape lives. NCECA is dedicated to ensuring the future of an art form that has been a common thread in human culture for over 30,000 years. http://www.nceca.net/

Hello my friend, thanks for checking the links I have shared in here. I am not sure where you are right now, but most countries where "Christianity" is not the dominating belief as a religion, do not have access to sites like this. Actually this link I am sharing is for everyone to see. However I am sad to know that in the Middle East, where Christianity is prohibited, people cannot access the links. Since the link is related to Christianity. I do respect what others believe in, but I am just sad that some cannot recognize the importance of knowledge. I do believe that if we learn the religions of others, we gain respect and peace can be more attainable. God bless!

I have attended conferences regarding business, education, religious activities, etc. I have seen Bo in a conference when I attended the CYA (Christ's youth in action) held at Xavier School, San Juan Metro Manila in the year 1992. It was ages already and this kerygma conference is interesting though I am not a member yet of this organization. God bless you on your kerygma activities!

Hello beauty_ph :) Most of the conferences I attend to are business-related. The last time I attended was at the start of this month. It was a conference about how to become leaders of the industry. I'd like to attend some religious/inspirational conferences but I don't have many friends to go there with as most of them are not very religious, even my husband is not into attending such events. Most probably I'd end up just watching that Ultra event if ever it's going to be televised. But thanks for your post about this, I'll take note of the date. Take care :)
