I would also go to amazon or a bookstore and buy some books- they are invaluable- Melt and Mold Soap Crafting and Making Transparent Soap- it can be really easy until you start doing the harder ones! It's addicting be careful!
Also, good is the everything Soapmaking Book which goes over 4 different kinds of soap crafting including real lye soap, melt and pour, hand milling also called french milling which is fun and easy too, and hot process soapmaking!
I also love Brambleberry- their Ginger Souffle fragrance is to die for!

Lowest budget- lean cold process soapmaking! :) A little more work and you work with lye but it's kind of like cake making and can be done cheaply from scratch with materials from whole foods and walmart for molds, etc..Something to ponder...
I love soaping with Glycerin as well but it's a little costlier- the soap is pretty though and good for you!
Good luck! I'm hear for ya if you need help doing it! I love teaching people how to create art! :)

This is my favorite of the websites that show how to make melt and pour soap. You can also usually find books on how to do it near where you buy the soap at stores like Michaels and A.C. Moore.

You can buy clear melt and pour glycerine soap and the coloring dyes at many craft stores and online. I know of many in the US but I don't know about your area.
This is one of my favorite soap making stores.

There are several yahoo chat groups out there that you can learn alot about how to make soap. There is most likely a transparent soap making group. Are you referring to glycerin soaps or transparent soap that is make from scratch. There is also books out there about transparent soap making. I believe Catherine Failor has a book about transparent soapmaking. Also, check out www.soapguild.org. This organization is all about handcrafted soap making.

I am sure that if you research it online you will find a lot of sites that can teach you about soap making. My other advice would be to go to the library and research soap making. I am sure that the library has several books on soap making. I personally love all of the resources that the library offers!!
