There is an old Scottish saying (one which you may be familiar with if I'm guessing right) that goes, "wherever you be, let your wind gang free" which basically means fart wherever you like...I'm sure your mother will understand

Haha, thanks for making me laugh tonight..I needed it. Yes I fart infront of my mother and she farts infront of me, we don't care :). I used to be shy about farting infront of my boyfriend too but now that I know him so well, I don't care about that either.

This is really a good and funny question. I ever did that and my mother don't care about it.

I would never fart in front of my mother intentionally. In 42 years I am sure that I may have done it unintentially in front of her a couple of times, but she would not really get mad about it. She would probably either give me a wierd look or laugh.

If this is the most important question of your life, you really have it easy. The rest of us only wish our most important questions could be so trivial. I think you should just try it and see what happens.

well sweety I try very not to fart in front of people but sometimes it cannot be helped! You better be careful cos when mhy son farts in front of me I usually spray him with my very feminine perfume - funnily enough now he farts more than ever!!!!!!

Ha ha! I wouldn't, but my sister farts in front of our mom all the time. My sister seems to think it's funny.:P I just burp around my mom all the time.

why not? she's your mother anyway...besides, why would she whip you for farting? farting is such a natural thing. i would be more careful not to fart in public than to fart in front of my mother.

Oh brother. You can come up with better than this, can't you? If you need to ask strangers if you should fart in front of your mother, I am shocked. What mother would punish a kid for having GAS in the house? This, truly, should be the least of your problems if you are serious. And if you ARE serious, a mother whipping a kid for having gas is a tad extreme in my humble opinion.

Well my mother is sort of different. She normally laughs and if it smells really bad she chases us out of the room.

If I am in my own house, or that of a close friend, I have no problems at all farting in front of my mother, family, friends or partner. As long as you excuse yourself afterwards, and you're not in an inappropriate place or situation, there should be no reason to hold it in. It's completely normal, if not pleasant.

I did it several times. I mean it's not out of respect to them, it's just normal, sometimes we just can't avoid that even no matter how hard we try to stop it. Also, my mom and I are like bestfriends so if I fart or she'll fart we just laugh to it. It's not really a biggie to both of us.

do not ever do that infront of your mother dear. if you every feel like exploding your bad smelling air. excuse yourself and do it not infront of your mom or anybody else. go outside the house or go to the cr. anywhere as long as nobody's near enough to inhale your fart. goodness
