Is there a need for reading Newspaers when there are lot news channels?

Hi friends
In this modern world , Is there a need for reading newspapers when there a lot of news channels ? I cetainly feel there are lots more in newspaper than the channel . What do you guys think Should we read newspaper or watch news channels ?

Well usually News Channels have the news but a big scale, like nation or world wide... and the newspapers are more local.
And if you ask me, I prefer mmm I do not know... but for now I do not have tv, so I better read the newspaper, or the news online!
