Who among the fans of Harry Potter loved the final book and expected the storyline of the plot? It took me by surprise completely and I loved the book. Did anone notice that it was so different from the book 6 ? Who loved the action scenes and the interesting flashback of Dumbledore teenage???What about the final battle between Harry and the Dark Lord?Did anyone think it was too easy about the Elderwand?

i loved the storyline of the 7th book even though i had guessed most of it already. i think the final battle between harry and voldemort was a bit too short though. aaargh!!! i can't beleive the series is over!!! :(

yeah..it was so different from all the books because i found it so disappointing and the story of dumbledore's life was BORING. the final battle at the hogwarts was good but cannot be termed as 'brilliant' and the final showdown with voldemort was the final nail in the coffin. i thrilling dual could have made up of all the shortcomings but no...rowling persisted with her 'love' theory which voldy didnot understand which meant his downfall with his own killing curse. if you want to read more about my reviews to go the following link.. you might as well reply there too. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1263871.aspx peace! :)

To me it was totally unexpected. That JK Rowlings could think on the those lines. She had me totally floored. I read the book two times cause the first time i was in too much of a hurry to know what happened to Harry. So the 2nd time i took it nice and slow. I have read the last book 4 times till now.

i cant say that the story was all that surprising to me. the fact that harry is an horcrux dint really surprise me, because i knew that it would explain a lot.well i accept that i never even thought about the hallows and all, but then i cant say that it was a real surprise, because apart from teh invisiblity cloak, the other two hallows were intorduced right in the 7th book, there is no info about it in the past books, so it wasnt much of a surprise.. and about the final battle i would say it was kinda lame.all words and no spice.. and all that happened was reverse spell which killed the most powerful wizard at that time. it took some time for me to beleive it, considering all this are fiction in the first place

I loved it. It went about how I expected. Finding out that Dumbledore had craved power and glory when he was younger did suprise me a bit, though it made him seem more.. like everybody else, except he learned from his past. The whole thing about Lily and Snape was real interesting too.

It was not all that surprising to me either, but I did enjoy it completely! It answered a lot of questions that I had from previous books by doing the flashback scenes. Very well done indeed! My only problem with this book was that I think she stayed on section with Harry and crew "running" and camping out at different places far too long! I felt as if we were getting no where for too many pages. I also did not like the end part all that much. It was almost as if she was hurrying to finish the story by marrying them all off and producing the next generation far too quickly! But, it does leave it open for possible sequels with the Potter and Weasley children!

I liked how there were a few interconnecting adventures in it with the horcruxes and the wand and things. I think quite a bit was expected but there were a couple of unexpected twists. I didn't expect Harry to come back to life again!
