is my dog normal????

can any 1 help me out??? i have black lab . he is 4months and 20 days old and weighs 17 kgs. hiss height is 1and half feet. my vet told that his weight is fine and his height is normal but as i have seen show dogs they are 2 feets. i kept my dog on home food and sometimes pedigree

Stop worrying... your dog will be fine.
Maybe he is just the runt of the litter which means he will be a wee bit smaller than other dogs his age.
I had a runt german shepard, she was absolutely beautiful and had all the german shepard traits and lived to a grand old age of 11 years.
Your dog is only a puppy still and has alot more growing to do. all dogs grow and mature at different stages, so as I said STOP worrying.

Animals as humans do, grow at different rates. I am sure your little guy is fine and will grow into his height. If you are preparing to show him, I would talk to your vet, maybe get some advice from a former showing veteran in your breed category. There are many threads on the internet that can assist you with that. I don't know if that is going to be much help to you, but you might want to check into it.
