Dogs and their fantasies...

Dogs and their fantasies... - I have a dog and have experienced that he just loves to play in grass.. He can play at any length in our lawn.. Also, he loves playing in mud and sand, which I always prevent from doing, coz he gets dirty after that.. He also likes to pee in the mud piles outside our house a lot..

My dog also loves to play in grassy place she loves to run in the grass which is half of my waist tall. She enjoys barking inside those bushes and come out running as if she was being chased by someone and jump to me when she sees me just for me to carry her. But my dog doesn't want to play in the mud.

My dogs love to play in the grass the mud the water, in fact anywhere really haha. They especially love the beach and being lucky enough to have the climate here in Australia to do that makes me and my dogs very happy. I have a 15 week old puppy now from my male and female dogs (they bred) and we kept one. I am looking forward to taking him to all the places my other two dogs love to go and showing him what a big world there is outside our back garden.

Yeah, thats not a fantasy. That's your dog being thrilled to be out of the house and outside where dogs belong. When I say belong, I don't mean dogs should be outdoor pets, I mean that all animals were built to live outside in nature. Your dog is just happy to have a new set of stimuli, new things to play with. Your dog might not play in mud as much if he had a kiddie pool, because when dogs play in mud they would normally choose a body of water if it were available. Fantasies are imaginations of a different world completely that one has not experienced, and it is extremely doubtful that dogs cognitively would be able to do this. One of the key differences between humans and other animals is our ability to consciously project ourselves into the future/alternate environment mentally. Not even chimps, which are the most cognitively complicated after us, can do this.
