i still remember the scene when he cry out the word freedom in face of death.i have watched the movie many times but i strill fell moved deeply when i watch it now.yes ,you surender you can live ,but survival without freedom is more horrible than death.everyone has the right to live with freedom and no body is superior to another.so ,if you are not under oppress ,what you should do is no to endure you should fight,you should have a brave heart to get your freedom

Yes, you are right, his words " freedom" are also impressed me deeply. I bursted into tears when I heard his shouting out this word.
