Is INFIDELITY the term for married people who still loves to chat?

i have a female friend who's married and her husband found out that she was chatting with an unknown guy on the net. well i have known my friend to be loyal to her husband and i also know that she loves chatting. it created a fight though and accused her of infidelity. maybe her husband was right.any brave ideas?

A lot of men would not be happy at their wives chatting with men on the Internet and would feel threatened by it. I think a lot of women would feel the same way if they found out their husband was chatting to women on the Internet. I don't know what kind of chat was going on, was it as friends or in a business way, if she has made a male friend that she contacts often then he will feel betrayed especially as you hear stories of people having very very close relationships that are only on the Internet but are considered by many to be a form of infidelity even if no physical contact takes place.
