What are your learning methods when you are trying to study for an examination or to some other test? I underline some of the important parts in my books and somethimes I make notes. It's quite a good method for the lazy ones like me.

I used to underline my books too but more often I summarize everything in one notebook so while writing I can memorize them too. And I used to cram too. It's easier po me to study a day or two before the examination to make sure that what I studied will retain in mind

I was told by my science teacher that when you cram you dont get to remember those things in the future. Most of my former classmates always forgot all what they read in the exam hall when they crammed. It's kinda said to be stored in your short-term memory.

Yeah, I think that writing notes is one of the best methods to learn.

I make sure my mind is at rest and relaxed. I try to understand every sentence and repeat them to myself. Then i go for hours then come back to read the again. Sometimes I read textbooks to have more understanding of the topic. Or if it is maths, I work more calculations. I do my underlining in the class while writing

i read what i'm studying out loud first before i read it in depth. in that way, i familiarize myself with the words first before trying to remember all the information in it.

That's an interesting method. I've read somewhere that when you read, you shouldn't read out loud but maybe it works for some people better than others.

I read my notes from classes and read the book, and make a summary. Also I look at end of the chapter if there is any exercise or study questions. And... look for old exams to have an idea of what they can ask in the actual exam! Good luck!
