That depends upon whether you want to simply watermark the images or actually copyright them. If the latter applies, don't concern yourself, by taking the image you have instant artistic copyright. To watermark (place an identifier on your piece) use an image editing program. Add your name, symbol, mark, whatever you fancy. If your image editing program has the capability, make the watermark somewhat transparent so it doesn't intrude upon your piece. ‹(°¿°)›

All I have is paint on my computer, no high end art programs, but I have this great picture, actually 2 that I know will get eaten up on the net.

Thanks for the vote. Don't swipe my pics off Yuwie. I will hunt you down and sing the Carmen Midanda rights to you. Heh heh. ‹(°¿°)›

There are several software programs on can download that will add a copyright watermark on your photo..you will then have two separate types of your photos...the original and then a separate folder you can makeup for the watermarked version--the one I have is iWatermark which is good with my Mac computer, but there are many others good for regular PCs..These software programs are usually about $20 and you can download them

The person who commented to you first is correct. The easiest way is to write something on your photo. Depending on the type of program you have, you can put the copyright large and blend it into the photo so that the photo is viewable but the copyright is there. that's the best way as if you put it on the bottom or something someone can easily take the photo and crop that out. if you put the copyright across the center it obstructs the picture itself...so the best way is the blend it into the background covering the whole photo but you need a good program like photoshop or paintshop or something to do this.

Im not sure that you can take pictures off of yuwie but the first responder is correct BUT i dont think that if some one were to take it and use it that you would be able to do any thing about it because you actually havnt purchased the copywrite I think its a good deterant
