I do because people always say it does increase how much you get for your responses. I don't know if it's true or not though.

I do try to insert tag every time I respond to the discussions here. But I don't know if that can be a reason for not including your post as your earning, I don't think so. For the first few days, I still got my earnings even I didn't include tag on my responses.

Well seeing as no-one really knows what is involved in the earning process of Mylot, I look at it that the tags must be of some good in some way so regardless if it is for the posters benefit or perhaps the benefir of Mylot as they have to make money to pay us I feel it is good for everyone to submit them...

I almost always insert tags when submitting a response or starting a new discussion myself. The only time that I really don't enter tags is when my response was really short and I feel that it'd be a waste of time to go ahead and add tags as well.
As for whether or not tags contribute to our MyLot earnings, I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it helps because tags help the site out.

I haven't tried responding to a discussion without submitting a tag so i don't really know if it will affect our earnings, but i guess it won't cause i think they just want you to put tag so they can organize the discussions to what interest or topic it should be in. I always include tag to every discussion i make and to every responses i do. it's easier for every member here to find the discussion that relates to a topic they like.
