I like fall..What's your favorite season?

hello friends, this is my 2nd fall season in US. i like the 1st to 2nd week of fall where all the trees turn colorful, beautiful and lively. it's so neat to experience 4 seasons now since i was only use to 2 seasons in the country i came from. it's just either dry (summer) or wet (rainy) season there but now i find it so neat that weather here can totally change from too hot and too cold. Fall is my favorite season here aside from summer that i am used to and i miss it sometimes during the cold weather(winter) here. But i am trying to enjoy every season here in US. It's the nicest time to some time out cause it's not too hot and not too cold. I still remember my first fall here it was so nice and pretty when i look outside, i like the different color of trees(see attached pic). What's your favorite season? Tell us why?

Since I am from the Philippines, there is only 2 seasons. I suppose you are from countries like Philippines...or should I say Philippines. Well, I enjoy rainy season because I dont want hot climate. But the problem is I cant go out with my daughter because its hard going out during the rainy seasons. So during vacation time, I like it more when its summer than rainy days.

I love fall. The smells, the warm days, cool nights, and the crunchiness of the leaves that have fallen are the reasons. I love having a fire in our chimnea and putting leaves in it and re-living memories of my childhood. The smell of leaves burning in the fall brings memories of when I was a child and we were allowed to do that along the street. That was before open burning laws came into effect. I just love everything about fall.

My favorite season is spring. I love how colorful it gets with everything turning bright green and the flowers blooming. The rain is also nice as well as the warm weather.

I like the winter, the air is so clean and crisp and the snow is so fun.
I have attached a picture of one of my dogs, he to loves the winter. This was a spring snowfall- april 2005

Each season has its own feature.
I love spring for the nice and warm weather. You feel so nice in the warm sun with breeze blowing your face.
Summer is really too hot, blazing hot, which makes you feel so uncomfortable with sticky skin because of the sticky weather.
Autumn is the best season of the year as well as my favorite, when it is nice and cool and you feel so good. Sometimes autumn drizzle makes you feel refreshed from tired work.
Winter is the cold and windy. It makes you feel lazy in doing some household chores when it is too cold.
So personally, autumn is my favorite.

Wow, the tree looks nice. I hope to experience 4 seasons in other countries. I've experienced spring before in Korea and the flowers blossom. I believe fall/autumn would be nice also as the trees and leaves would be brown in colour.

My favorite season is spring. Its not too hot or too cold. I hate being hate. And i cant stand being cold either. Sometimes i wish it could spring year around. But i know thats not possible.

Hi Claire and welcome to the US!! Where are you from? To answer your question, I have two favorite seasons and they are spring and fall because in the spring all the pretty flowers are blooming and the birds are singing and babies are being born. I like the fall because of the leaves changing colors and the feel of winter being around the corner. Those two seasons are just amazing and really cool to watch. I have a house flag that says "Happy Fall Ya'll" LOL Since today is the first day of fall, I better get it hung out! :)

its second summer now in ind.so i fel that is pretty good as u felt rainy all these days.so suddenly u need to feel warm again before u go to the extreme cold in nov to feb next.that will ease up a bit i think before u get warm again!

In my country, we only have 2 seasons, summer and rainy season. I like rainy seasons, its cooler and romantic for me :)

Yes, the fall here in the USA is really pretty with all of the leaves changing colors. But my favorite season is in the spring. I love when all the new leaves are opening on the trees, and all the flowers are beginning to bloom. The air is so fresh and clean, and the weather temperature is usually just about right...not too hot and not too cold.

Well Claire, I agree with you, Fall colors are really wonderful! I love Spring and Fall because they are both not too hot and not too cold, and their colors are really amazing.
However I love every season, I think that they all are important.

I am like you in that I really enjoy the autumn. I like the weather getting cooler, and wearing a sweater. I love the colors of the world as well as fashions and decorations - deep rich tones. I like the blue skies with fluffy white clouds and the crispness in the air. I like the smells of autumn too, people are just starting to burn the wood in their fireplace or woodstoves and it gives a nice scent to the air.
I like the smell of hot spiced cider, and walks down the lane with leaves falling about you and crunching under your feet, and the rays of the sun working through the branches of the trees giving warmth where it may rest.
I just love the Autumn

I turn mine on in the late afternoon depending but usually around 4pm and turn it off when I go to bed and I set it to come on in the morning at 6am and turn it off about 9-10am again and give it a rest although someday the house gets really cold so I turn it back on thought the day.

I also enjoy the Fall. I like the change in the weather. I like the colors of the foliage. I like the crispness in the air and the breeze that often accompanies it.
