Do you go on winter vacations? If so, where are you going this year? We are taking various trips to Christmas villages. I am really looking forward to it.

I know and I am so happy for you. They are little villages they have lots of little shops that celebrate Christmas in their own little way. Some sell Christmas items, others might sell Christmas foods, etc. Very nice.

Yes, we are always out of station for most of our vacations and this winter we would be visiting our family memebers who are about 7-900 km from us, as they look forward for us to come over and then together as a family we go and visit other places. I think its always better that we all go toegther as more the merrier and i prefer that with family members more than friends as we can even meet and be with our family members and the cousins can meet each other as well. And the fact that we are all going toegther to some other new place, to explore and sight see, adds more pleasure to the trip too. We are planning to go to another hill station this winter to see the snow and the kids just love the snow, so they are all going to be together there and we all would welcome that break too, and there after latter part of winters we are planning to go to one of the religious pilgrims of our country that we have been wanting to visit for a long time, but not had that kind of time nor holiday to visit that too. i think more than the vacation or the visit it is the togetherness of all of us together with each other and enjoying each others company as well.

There are various regigious pilgrims like the various temples, shrines, places which have had a lot of history and some God or Goddess beliefs in their dwelling etc, and many others, worth visiting as India is known for all this. Have a nice day :)

We went to Vegas a couple of weeks before Christmas one year. The Bellagio was really something to see, all decorated for Christmas, it was so beautiful. I thought I might do some Christmas shopping, but everything was too expensive. We had a great time though. I usually go to visit my nephew in Florida sometime during the winter. It's nice to take a break from the ice and snow, and spend time with my nephew. This year, I'll be going earlier than usual, because his wife is due to have their first child in a couple of weeks. I can hardly wait to see the baby! I'm so excited!!

I think Melbourne is colder than Sydney, the temperature here is around 13 degree and i can still bear the coldness when i wear more clothes. Also I am afraid i will have to pay an expensive bills if i leave the heater overnight.

I don't think I will go somewhere to spend the winter holiday or Christmas holiday. Since we plan to do a big trip next year on summer holiday to visit my parents in my home country. Maybe just stay at home with my small happy family.
