My PC at home need repair :(

Yesterday I just switched on my PC
Windows has started and just as the destop appeared,
i clicked on a program.
Bang!
At that moment there was power cutr.
I don not have an UPS and it was illegally shut down.
After power came, I again switched it on.
I never thjought it in my wildest draem.
It just was showing the two initial screen before starting Windows XP.
I think it need formatting and again OS has to be installed.
I have Tension now,
It will be a long process and again I have to set up the broad band connection and all myself.
If it does not set up correctly,
what will happen?
Pls pray for me.

Your PC may be affected by viruses. First unplug your broadband connection. Than keep your all valuable documents in another Hard disk or CD. Format your hard drive, make new partition and install windows XP. If your problem does not solved than disclose all componets(Ram, Lancard, HDD cable, CD cable, Sound, AGP etd.) from motherboard than reinstall those components than again install your XP.

Best of luck getting it started again Subha12
I just recently myself had to format and reinstall all programs on my computer.
What I feared the most was all the extra programs, addons for firefox and such, drivers and licenses being lost and had to be found again, now thats hard work lol

I don't want to give you the link here and get your discussion removed but feel free to PM me. They can fix it for you remotely, ie they can take over control of you PC and fix your problem.
