Wonderful weekend! nails done!

Last Saturday, I finally went to the salon and get myself a much needed manicure and pedicure,hubby who went with me got a haircut too! he felt envious..*smiles*
SO that was one wonderful weekend for me.
How's your weekend my dear friends? have you pampered your self lately? I think we all need it once in a while..When was the last time you treated your self..spa? massage or hair treatments?
Looking at my nails right now while typing here..feels good!

I'm happy for you. I love to look down at my fingernails when I'm typing & admire my beautiful nails. It's great to pamper yourself now & then! :)

yes, gwendovere. pamper yourself where you should. that deters aging. i have failed to do this on myself for years as i have been so engrossed about so many family and financial matters which had been too pressing. now, that everything has eased out a bit, i have so much catching up to do. i really look so old and battered at 54. it is too bad yes, but it is never too late to make some amends, right?

I have only treated myself to a manicure/pedicure one time. It turned out to be a complete waste of time and money. I could not sit still long enough for it to dry. I pamper myself with things like books from the Library and things like that. They are a real treat for me.

it is nice of you to have been out with your husband on such a calming situation. such activities sparks couple's relationships all the more.
the last weekend, i had hot oil. my hair has really aged. i have this hot oil thing on weekends as a matter of course. then, saturday afternoon until evening, i spent the time with my two boys. we went to the reflexologist. this time, it was the three of us who received treatment. it used to be my youngest child only who is on the road to recovery from his illness. it has been a good treat for all of us.
sundays shall always for the church and the family, too. we just spent some hours together lazily at home, playing and at times, passing the while away at the computer doing computer games of sorts.

It does feel nice to be pampered doesn't it. I got my nails and toes done last week and that was a treat from my husband too.

I did my treatment at home yesterday. I had some facial masks and then a hair treatment for my hair. I feel pretty good today looking at my skin and my less dry hair. But I am generally in a OK mood before it's public holiday on Wednesday around here. And 3 more full days to my last day. I can't be happier!

It is great to hear that you had a wonderful weekend with your hubby. It has been quite some times since the last time I went to salon or etc to pamper myself. I did go to the salon to cut my hair but it was nothing special. I think I want to do something now as I am very eager to wait for my husband to come back. Maybe this is the right time for me to get a new hairstyle and groom myself better *smiles*

I love doing that! It makes you feel so good aboutself. Im glad you had such a nice weekend. I had to do my laundry at my aunts house on sunday. And while I was there we decieded to go to a play. It was a nice break inbetween the laundry.LOL
