How do you learn English?

My first language : Bahasa Indonesia. My second language : Dutch and English is my third language. At this moment i also learn Dutch. And i try to read children books, watch TV, communication with dutch people. To learn English, also with the same methode.

since im out of school now.. i learn english through watching movies, internet surfing, reading the newspapers, reading books, watching tv shows.. basically every media that uses english. ^__^

Posting in here is a very good start, I know there is a lot of people coming in here to improve their english. maybe its something that to even further their learning is help each other out with it, I admire you toung people from different countries trying so hard to learn english I know it must be hard but you all keep on trying, your all an inspiration...

English is not our native language too but it is our second language, it is being thaught in the chool, the education system uses english as the meduim of tecahing so most of us (filipinos) can write and speak english although not as fluent as those of speakers of thelanguage. I train and learn by reading english books or any english reading materials, I watch english shows too..that is a big help and yes one benefit of mylot is learning english..so keep on posting and participating here that would help you.

when i was a newbie working at a calling a call center, my trainer adviced us to speak english all the time..that way, we can practice our english conversational skill and it worked....
