will you exchange your current ipod for the latest one?

Apple has released new generation ipods and introduced Itouch. ..Would you gladly pass on your current ipod to a family member or sell it to get the latest generation? I'm quite satisfied with my nano, but I might consider purchasing the Iphone anytime soon. :)

I have an I-Pod Video. The one with 80 GB. My songs alone are 25 GB already. Although the I-Pod Touch looks really really tempting, it will not hold all my songs, as you can see I am an audiophile. I lug all my songs with me. If it comes with a higher storage (just like my I-Pod Video) ... then I will seriously think about it.

Thanks for your reply! The Ipod classic has a 160gb version, but it's not nearly the sweetest gadget in the bunch. Wouldn't you think the price would sky rocket if Itouch could reach even 30gb?

Ipod classic has the biggest hd space out of all the new ipods...:) not really worth it for me..:)

It's tempting but 30 GB is still to small for me. Hehehe. If the I-Pod Touch comes with an 80 GB or above, ooo I will buy! But I think the price will skyrocket because of that (... unless a new model comes out and the stuff will sort of be a bargain - hahaha, I wish!)

I have been extremely happy with my nano. i have a really hard time spending money on luxuries, especially on myself. i think i am going to be perfectly fine with my music playing through my nano.

I have a nano, too. I think it's rad, but sometimes I struggle with the 2gb space, but I adore it! :)

No, my iPod is working just fine, I will hang on to it for as long as I can. It is 2 1/2 years old, ancient by iPod standards but have not had a problem with it. If I can wait another year or 2 on it...the new one will be even better then what is out there now.
I would love to see an FM radio on it and maybe a built in mike..

I would love an all in one ipod! no more fm receiver and mic attachments....but I doubt that's going to happen since they're making lots of money on the accessories...

I would love to swap for an Itouch however I can't justify spending all that money on it right now. I assume that a later model, which would probably come out within a year, will have more memory or at least the price will drop. I'm just going to wait just now and keep on using my old one until then.

i would like to get the new ipod nano (it can view videos just like the ipod classic). but then i have an ipod mini right now and all my favorite songs are there and some of those songs i don't have on my pc. its not functioning as well as it did before. im having a hard time thinking if i would just have it repaired or buy a new one. :P

*sigh* i feel for you...if something's with you for so long, you develop a bond... the nano has 4gb and 8gb and it's price is kinda worth it because of the added feature (video)

I won't replace my current Ipod until it stops working.
Since I have this Ipod and my cell phone I don't feel the need to get an Iphone. Beside, I've heard it isn't available in Canada because they can't get a distributor. Supposedly someone else already owns the copyright to the name Iphone in Canada.

Yeah...that's one of the things holding me back ,too. It won't be here in Asia until early 2008. I'd have to wait and see, though.:)

The Ipod I have now is good enough for me! It's small, compact and it holds 300 songs. Why would I need any more songs than that? I'm not going to the moon and back!

hmmm...i get your point. :) but I'm addicted to podcasts and there's this residual space that gets occupied (I don't know what it is, but it appears as others. I don't put pictures or use it as a flsh drive either)
