Anyone been on Lupron

Ha, I just seen that this was a year old. But I have just started this medication. I too have endometriosis and PCOS. My doctor put me on this because of intense pain I was having. I have had hot flashes and a couple night sweats. My biggest side effect so far is that before I went on the medication I went almost 10 months without a period. Almost 2 weeks ago I started bleeding heavy and cramping so bad I couldn't walk. I ended up back at the doctor and she told me that the first 21 days are the roughest. I am coming to the end of my 21 days, FINALLY! I do not have constant pain now and I am only passing a couple big clots a day. I was passing on about ever 15-30 minutes. I was off work for a couple days and I still do not have all my energy back. I really really hope that this Lupron works because if not then I my next step is a hysterectomy.

Ah, lupron. Yes, I've been on it, and had to go off it. I have bi-polar disorder, and lupron made it 100X worse-not to mention weight gain, early menopause symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats...it was aweful. I essentially achieved the same result by using heavy-duty painkillers when needed, and continually taking BC pills (with no break in between packs/"rest" period.)
