This horse has talant and has been beautifly trained. What else is there to say. I really enjoyed watching her. My grandfather trained his horses when he was alive so i have an idea of the work that goes into training a horse to do what the beautiful animal has been trained to do. How could she not win?

I know what you mean.I have been to many shows.....but this was by far the best performance of any horse(yes I say horse....because she is the real star here) I have ever seen.
I know how much work goes into training any animal....but this horse has something about her that makes it look like she actually knows what she's doing and not just what she was taught.

Of course this horse knows what he is doing, but it is because of his training. (Yes, this horse is a gelding: male.) The rider is giving him signals every second that he has been trained to pick up and interpret very quickly. He is indeed an exceptionally smart horse with amazing training and dressage skills.

That is called dressage. The horse is actually a gelding, or male. Anyway, dressage is based on perfection. This riding pair managed to complete the round with only one fault, but by what you said, you didn't even notice. If you do not know a lot about dressage, it is easy to miss a tiny flaw. The judges are very careful when watching, and do not miss the most minor details that other people do. Dressage takes a lot of training and hard work. Amazingly, this gelding is only nine years old and doing a fantastic job. You probably didn't notice the rider giving him any signals, but each move was indeed singnaled to by the rider. It is amazing what a horse and rider can do when they understand each other!

Ooh, that sounded mean. I am sorry. I was trying to be informative, not rude. XD
And for the record, I did not notice the mistake either. I'm not too big on dressage myself. [What I mean is that I like to watch it, but I do not actually take part in it much.]

That was unbelievably, fantastically awesome! I have seen freestyle before but never like that. I agree she seemed to be enjoying it.

The horse looks lovely - I love musical freestyle best, out of all of the subtypes of dressage. The breeds of horses involved, the dedication, the years of training, the skill of the riders...you can't fake being fantastic in dressage, unlike many of the other disciplines. You also can't bully your horse into performing those moves.
