Are left handed people really so different from right handed ple? Is being a left handed so inconvenient when eating with someone who's a right handed? Very often, i have to make sure that i'm sitting on the left side so that i won't knock onto the person while eating.. Even for using of scissors, being left handed means that more than often we won't be able to cut things when we using a right handed scissors.. But at the same time, there's a saying that left handed ple have a gift in terms of their thinking.. If given a choice, would u prefer to be a left or right handed person??

i am right handed, because i think my mom trained me this way...she told me that i should use my right hand for eating, writing and etc...and so i grew up right handed...i also grew up hearing that a left handed child is not properly thought by its parents...well that was then...i don't hear much about it now...
but even if i hear those things before, i still wanted to use my left in writing...i think that's nice...but so sad that i am not successful in it, coz even if i can write on my left...well it looks like a chicken scratch and i write very slow! actually i can't even hold the pen right on my left!
but no matter what hand a person is using, i think what matters most is what are they doing...i think being left handed is cool and a skill...maybe.

lol =D Well, i guess that's what most parents are thinking about, because majority of ple are right handed.. So if their child is a left handed, they tend to think it's abnormal.. lol =D When i was a kid, my parents have always forced me to write and eat with my right hand.. BUt when they are not around to supervise me, i will switch to my left hand immediately as i feel more comfortable with left.. haha =D
As i grow older til about 6, they no longer force me to use my right hand.. haha =D THough i did try to learn again, but it's still too slow.. Just like u, it's messy and unreadable.. BUt now, it's very much readable like a primary school kid, but it's still very slow.. haha =D However, my master hand, left, writing is much more messy and untidy that only i can understand what i'm writing about.. lol =D

haha...maybe that's what parents think that's why they want their children to be right handed...
so you mean, being left handed might be something that is natural to a child? coz if you are trained to use your right but still don't get successful...well maybe it is something natural to you that you are more comfortable with your left...
well like you, even if im right handed...i still write like a doctor even with my right! hehehe
oh by the way i like to correct what i wrote above...it should be taught not thought...

I wanna be a leftie! Because it's just so cool and I can be creative and clever too, using my creative brain all the time.. Eating wouldn't be a problem for me, because I love to eat when everybody's sleeping and I do take-away most of the time..

lol =D I wished i could 'SCORE' as well with the ladies, but instead i think i 'SCARED' them instead.. lol =D Well, some said lefties are more clever while some say they are more creative.. I guess it depends on how one look at things ^_^
It's never easy to learn, just like i tried with my right hand.. haha =D I gave up but picked it up again in later stages of life.. Right now, i think i can write better than my left hand, but at a much slower pace though.. lol =D BEcause my handwriting is naturally messy and untidy.. lol =D

Really..
Then you must have scored well with the ladies, bro..
Not only creativity, they say that left-handed people are more clever.
I would wanna ace. In fact, when I was young last time, I was so vain, I tried practicing writing on the left. When I noticed all that was written were scribbles and nonsense, I decided to leave my left-handed dream..

I don't think so. Sure, it may be a little inconvenient with certain things, like meal time, but other than that I don't see there being any real significant difference.
If I was given a choice I'd choose to be ambidextrous! Too bad I don't have the patience to practice such a thing! LOL
So what would you rather be kun? Left or right handed? Or both?
Hey it may be a 2 year old discussion, but I still have to ask!

I'm a left handed person, but i will rather i be a right.. lol =D BEcause it's much more convenient.. The only i hate most about being a left hand person, will be using of scissors as well as some other equipments, including a saw.. haha =D All those thing are designed for the use of right handed ple, and it's very difficult for me, whenever i'm attending technical and art classes.. haha =D
BUt there are some things whereby i can use both my right and left hands naturally.. So, i think it should be better if i'm able to use both hands for everything.. haha =D Too bad, i'm not as patient like u.. hehe ^_^

Being left-handed is a gift since a lot of people are right-handed. I met a few people who are left-handed and they dont have difficulty in doing things a right-handed can do. When I had my right wrist tendonitis months ago, I forced myself to use my left hand. It was so difficult but I have no choice but to endure it. It was a learning experienced for me since I learned to hold my spoon using my left hand and I was able to write too.

well im'm left handed by birth and i love every min of it. yes we are a special breed in life. you have to learn to adapt to a right handed world which can be creul at times. people try to break you and make you be right handed but, if you are the strong person you will keep on going with the left hand as i did. no as time goes on i have learned to do things just as good right handed as left handed. peolpe think im righthanded but when i sign my name its always left handed and thats where i get the question . I thought you were right handed. I reply no i'm really left handed but in this cuture i learned to do both over the years. So yes im proud to be a "LEFTI" as they say. And if you are don't chnge it for no one it's your right stand up for the lefti's in the world cause they are few and far between. :)

haha =D GOOD!!
Let's make the world go left!! lol =D
THere are some things i can only do with my right hand, but when it comes to signature, i will be bound to use my left hand, because of the way, we write, the strokes are all in different direction, which makes it unique.. hehe

I saw left handed people is more intelligent than right handed people. No i didn't think that left handed so inconvenient when eating with someone who is eating with his right handed. If having the choice obviously i will go for left handed person.

I think that Society is cruel to left-handed people. They are singled out in every way I can think of.
If I had to choose, I would be right-handed -- just because it's easier to get along in society as a righty.
But if I could choose to be ambidextrous, that would be my first choice. I think it would be wonderful to be able to use both hands.

I am a ambidextrous or I could both uses both left and right handed traits as I could write on my left side but only slow and very fast on my right side. Though, I often uses both hands depending on the purposes or task or either switching both, as for examples when I am throwing ball it took me fast to hit the ball to land in a longer distances than using my right hand. While I could eat manually using both my hands. My father, brother and youngest sister were all left handed, and I find them amusing. Most of them are a good artist, know painting and to sketch. Then, my brother likes tools and gadgets, until he finished electrical engineering and master electrician at the same time. He is also quite independence in his thinking and determined. Then, I also notice when he like to do things faster and finish it on time then quite aggressive likely to rush most of the times. Though, lack patience most of the time but manage to finish his work on time. It is believe also that most left handed people are are be a good leaders and well known artist like Barack Obama, Leonardo da Vinci and others well known personalities..While the downsides they are also believe that left handed are sinister, clumsy or have a bad traits as most of the famous gangster and criminals like Al Capone and Jack the ripper are believe to be left handed,While most right handed people were believe to be creative person and most of the people are right handed such as like in opening a can or in hammering need to have a lot of forces hence the right hand is more appropriate to use. If I am going to choose between the two I prefer to be right handed as most of the tools invented caters to the need of the right handed which is rarely available to most left handed and that is why most accidents on the road involves a left handed drivers because they often not get to use in driving the wheel using their left hand which the design is intended for use by right handed.

That's good for u!! Being able to use both hands for different purposes!! hehe ^_^ THat's to your own advantage of things, for it will only bewild the others, of your ability.. hehe
Well, when it comes to driving, i dun think master hand will affect much actually.. After all, it's more about controlling with the foot rather than the sterring wheel.. haha =D

Yup, that is why it is so fine to use both hands wisely and carefully...
if not properly uses it only tend to lose its flexibility...
That what I have read and most of the tools invented are design for uses mostly by right handed people..
and when push button is now even available to driver with disability..
anyway, how about you, are you a lefty or a right handed?
which you find more useful??
