We human developed sports and I think that's quite great. Sports is not only full of fun but also very good for our health. That's the nature of sports. But Olympic Games just mis leading the real meaning of sports. In Olympics courts, sports become a kind of battle. It just hurts or destroys our body and make many athletes further and further away from normal life. At least I know many athletes are short-lifed. Isn't that against the nature of sports? I think there might be some reason that we need professional athletes as a kind of job to explore the limitation of human body and provide us with exciting and interesting games. But as a competition that spreads the spirit of sports like Olympic Games, professional players should be abandoned. Higher, Faster and stronger should change to Healthier, Wider and more fun.

I agree with you. Some sports are dangerous. Some can't even walk in his whole life after the wound. The people want to challenge the world record, so it is likely to take a risk and it'll be harmful for their bodies.

i agree with you on all points. nonetheless, we can see now that even sports is very much commercialized. the olympics is not only just so as for everyone to have fun competing, they are there to win and the host country is around to earn so much from hosting the event. if we come to think of how much money is being poured in by participating countries in the training of their athletes, it appears that the purpose of having the olympics has been beaten right from the very roots. friendly competition is no longer promulgated therein, the participating athletes are not out there to gain friends, they are out there to win in order to be worth the pains and the money spent and given them during the training years.
